Our cohort 1 students recently completed their fourth and final residential at Imperial College London, marking a fitting highlight of their programme. During their visit, students were introduced to the operation of a state-of-the-art carbon capture and storage (CCS) pilot plant, gaining first-hand insight into cutting-edge technologies shaping the future of low-carbon energy systems. They also explored the complex technical and financial risks associated with investing in advanced, lower technological readiness level innovations, deepening their understanding of real-world implementation challenges. Alongside this invaluable learning experience, the cohort embraced the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and celebrate their journey together—ensuring the residential was as enjoyable as it was enriching 😊
